The first thing you can do to stop a caffeine addiction is by substituting or replacing your craving with green tea. Of course, you don’t need to go cold turkey on coffee just like that. Instead, take the process little by little by gradually replacing the coffee with green tea. For instance, if you used to drink 3 cups of coffee each day, then you can change that by drinking three 2 coffees and 1 green tea. Afterwards, slowly change it all to green tea. This might take time and can be hard, but with will and a resolved attitude, it is possible to achieve.

You might also need to address the social aspect that you might experience from drinking a coffee. Oftentimes, it is more about sitting at a coffee shop with a good company and then enjoying the drink. If this is the case, then consider going to a café that provides herb tea or even tea infusions as a replacement for coffee shops. You can still have a good time and a good company in a tea café!
